One of the best gear units for limited installation space. A wide range of mounting positions and variants enable a broad spectrum of applications even under difficult installation conditions without having to compromise on the performance. As with all the other types of gearmotors from SEW Eurodrive you get a long operating life without maintenance and wear-free gearing with a high fatigue strength.

With a high torque rating from 130 Nm to 18,000 Nm, SEW’s parallel-shaft helical gearmotors offer great performance in many conveying and processing applications. They are also often used on crane travel drives and in applications where space is at a premium, favouring their compact design. The F-Series is also a high efficiency gearbox with performance similar to the standard helical R-Series units.

Mounting options available include foot, flange or shaft-mounting. For precise positioning tasks the parallel-shaft helical gear units are available with reduced backlash.

Not only do we supply the full range of SEW Eurodrive gearmotors but we also have a fully equipped workshop for repairs to existing units including shaft and gear manufacture, replacement bearings & seals and motor repair/replacement. We also carry out modifications including manufacture of special output shafts and mounting bases.
