Great news this week as our MD Julian Webb gives a warm welcome to our second new engineering apprentice starter, Daniel.
Daniel has always wanted to start a career in engineering and the wide variety of repairs that come through our door each day really cemented his desire to join our company when he attended for two trial days earlier this month.
Daniel is very excited to start his apprenticeship with us and begin his career in the engineering industry. Here at Webb-Elec we fully support and help all our employees grow and reach their goals.
His first week has been challenging which he has really enjoyed trying his hand at welding, balancing and general fitting skills working on 3 phase motors and gearboxes. He has a very strong work ethic and a good sense of humour, fitting in well with the rest of our team.
On the football front, Daniel supports his home country, the Hungarian national team.
Daniel can speak various languages such as Hungarian and Danish and is now working on the very specialised Black Country dialect!! In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, travelling, and also building Lego.
Lego building seems to be a very popular hobby with our employees especially Jobey Godfrey which must be down to their enthusiastic engineering mindset.
