Recently we helped with the design of a belt conveyor system for an agricultural company.

The units were being manufactured to process leeks. From being harvested, the leeks would come into the factory on these conveyors for preparing and then shipment to the supermarkets. Our project engineer calculated the necessary loads and speeds required and selected several Nord geared motors to suit the application. Nord was the customer’s preference for this project as they are a high quality German manufacturer providing excellent support and competitive pricing.

These were duly fitted to the conveyors and the whole units delivered to site to the customer’s full satisfaction.
