We recently supplied 3 new twinset Armstrong heating pumps for one of our hospital clients. These were to replace some very old pumps that had come to the end of their useful life. Twinset pumps have 2 rotating heads built into the one single casting to enable a duty & standby arrangement where one pump head runs and then switches over to the second unit on a scheduled basis or in the case of a failure with the first unit.

Our site team isolated the existing ageing hospital heating pumps, drained down the system and installed the new pumps all on the same day. These were then fully commissioned to ensure correct operation so that the heating stays on this winter.
