Description

The Kendrion Binder Module Line brake series includes single pressure single disc brake modules for direct current which can be mounted as an additional module to a fully assembled motor, usually to end shield A. Therefore the Module Line has an own bearing-mounted output shaft. This unit is designed as a holding brake also with emergency stop function. Electromagnetic spring pressure brakes build up the braking torque when the current is switched off. The braking force can be neutralized by energizing the coil or by means of a hand release for installation purposes.
